SUNDAY STROLL

Leif and I have decided that on Sunday afternoon/evenings we want to start going on walks. It's so nice to get fresh air and just walk around and enjoy the weather. Today we brought some towels to sit on and were planning on sitting down at the beach and getting some sun but it ended up being pretty windy and chilly so we just walked around for a little bit instead. :)

While we were walking along the beach we started talking about how happy we are to be living in California. It is something that both of us have always dreamed of doing! When we got married (last March), it was our goal to move to California by January. When we got married we honestly did not have any money so we knew we needed to save up a bunch before making the big move. We ended up saving like crazy and moving in August and it has been SO rewarding making our dreams come true. The other day we were looking at a little engagement book we had made, and in it there is a little questionnaire both of us answered. One of the questions was: What is your dream career? Leif answered a professional filmmaker. Little did he know he would be doing that full time only 6 months later!! Another one of the questions was "Where is your dream vacation?" Leif answered Bali and I answered Australia. We traveled to both of those places this past year! I don't say any of this to brag or try and make us sound cool- I honestly just say it because I want you to know that you can make any dream you have happen if you work hard for it! 

We still have so many goals and things we have yet to accomplish, but I am so excited to push ourselves further and work hard to obtain the things we want! There is my little rant for the day.

One week from today is our one year anniversary! We have a little getaway planned so I'm excited about that. I'll be doing a post for our one year sharing some of my favorite memories and photos from the first year of marriage-so look out for that. :) xo
