SUMMER TO FALL

Remember how each year I make it a goal to post more consistently on my blog and then never do? I don't even want to promise that I am going to do this "Weekly Favorites" kind of post every week but I definitely want to try to post them more often!

I online shop a lot-it is how I buy most of my clothes. I really do not like taking the time to go to the mall and try stuff on/put outfits together. Call me lazy hehe but it is so much more convenient to just do it from home and send it back if it doesn't fit in my opinion! That being said, I am constantly on different sites "hearting" stuff or putting it on a wishlist. Then I go through and narrow down what I want to actually purchase. I always try and link my outfits for you guys on my IG story but there are so many items that I don't end up buying that I still want to share with you guys because they are so cute!

SO, I want to start making blog posts with my current favorite online items! I want there to be a mix of affordable pieces as well as items that are more of an investment. I believe in quality > quantity so not everything I buy is always super affordable but in my mind it makes more sense to buy quality pieces than buy a bunch of items that aren't going to last me as long! BUT I still love buying trendy, cheaper pieces that are just fun to wear a few times and shoot in too! So I'm going to share a mix of both with you guys!!

Because fall is coming up I am trying to stop buying "summer clothes" and start making purchases that make sense for both warmer and cooler weather. These jeans were an investment but I have already started wearing them and can tell I will be wearing them all fall/winter long. They are cute with platform sandals and will look so good with a sweater + boots too!! I have mentioned this many times, but I am 5'3" and it is always kind of a struggle for me to find jeans that fit super well. I usually always have to get them altered (or cut them myself) but these are a perfect length (if you wear some sort of heel). I am obsessed!

If you follow me on Instagram it is probably obvious by now how much I love colorful sweaters. (I linked some more fun ones for you guys at the end of the post!). Right when I saw this one, I knew I had to have it! I paired it with my favorite jeans (I cut these myself), and these amazing boots! I have had them forever and thought it would be a cute combo.

I saw this denim romper on my friend Amanda's IG story and bought it within ten minutes. I think it is sooo cute and different! I always love rompers/jumpsuits because you don't have to worry about finding a top + bottom to match-you can just throw it on! I wore it with white sneakers. It is so comfortable-I can tell I will be wearing it a lot! I When I took it out of the package I was shocked at how big it was (I ordered a Small), but once you cinch the belt up it is great! It still does have kind of an oversized fit but I like it a lot. I rolled the bottoms up, but if you are taller you won't have to!
