EXPLORING THE DESERT

Lately, I have been a little quieter on social media but Leif and I have still been shooting photos a ton! I actually hired a photographer to help us out (and get photos of me and Leif for campaigns) because we realized we just couldn’t do it all on our own. I am super excited now that it is November because we are closer to the Holidays. Best time of the year!

You guys know how much I love Uber. Even before partnering with them I have mentioned them so many times in YouTube videos or IG stories. We use Uber all the time when traveling and even just getting around LA. They have a “Request for a Guest” feature now which is really cool. It allows you to request a ride for someone else right from your Uber app. Once the driver is on their way, the rider receives a text message with the driver’s details + a link to track the driver’s route. They are also able to contact the driver directly if they need to.

This is awesome for getting family or friends to important moments with you. (i.e. if you have an art show-you could request Uber rides for your loved ones to get there easily). In my case, I am able to request a ride for my photographer to get to photoshoot locations because it is much easier/more convenient to do that than to figure out how much gas would have cost her + compensate her.

Being a photographer means being ready to capture special moments when they’re happening, so having an accessible option for travel at-the-ready is so important. I’m always looking for new ways to improve the creative process and Uber definitely helps. Having one less thing to worry about lets you focus on getting the shot.
