ON THE GO

Hey hey hey!! Hope you are all having a great week so far. We have been running around like crazy these past few weeks with lots of work projects, family in town, etc. We are back in California like I mentioned in my last blog post, and I am so happy to be home! We honestly haven't ever really experienced summer in California for longer than a week or two at a time because we have had such an intense travel schedule but I am happy because we are planning to be home for the rest of the summer! We will see if anything changes but that is the plan for now.

This past week when I got back to LA, I had a meeting, lunch date and photoshoot and I was able to try out the new guaranteed on-time scheduled rides feature on Uber. They have just implemented a new on-time guarantee which means that when you schedule a ride at least 30 minutes in advance, your ride will arrive within the 10-minute window you choose, or they will give you credits toward your next ride.

I wanted to utilize it so I could review it for you guys and am happy to report that I loved it and will definitely be using the feature a lot from here on out!! It is pretty self-explanatory, but basically the feature allows you to schedule rides in advance in order to guarantee you get to your destination on time. I can't tell you how awesome this is for traveling (getting picked up or dropped off at the airport) or for getting to meetings/events on time!

I tend to run late (which is something I am trying to get better at), but this was so awesome because I was able to schedule my ride from the airport and get to my meeting on time! It is nice because it forces you to be on time, whereas if you are driving yourself you may make excuses and leave later than you should.
