BACK IN LA

Hiiii guys! Hope you are all doing awesome. These past few weeks have been full of traveling + craziness but I am finally sitting down to write this blog post!

If you know me, you know I looove Uber. Leif and I use the app often, both when we travel as well as at home. We only have one car, so it is extremely convenient when one of us needs to go somewhere but doesn't have access to the car! This particular day I took an Uber to go shoot some content and get lunch while Leif was busy running errands. (PS Another reason I like taking Ubers around LA is because then I don't have to deal with driving in the crazy traffic + parking). Anyone else the worst parallel parker in the world?

Anyway, I wanted to tell you guys about the new Trusted Contacts feature Uber has implemented because I think it is really awesome. Basically, you can designate up to five family members + friends as Trusted Contacts and share your trip details with them, so they can follow along and know when you have arrived to your destination.

I am overly paranoid about going places alone (probably the result of listening to too many crime podcasts) and it gives me so much peace of mind to know that Leif (and some other friends in LA) can keep track of my ride and know exactly when I arrive to where I am going. I can honestly say I have always felt very safe using Uber because of these kind of features and I really admire that the company has made safety such a priority for their users. Whether you need a late night ride to the airport, or just want to visit your favorite café and don't have a ride, Uber is an awesome option and I really recommend it!
